Athens, GA (February 14, 2020) – Around 12:10 p.m. on February 12, police responded to a car accident that caused injuries in Athens.
According to authorities, the accident occurred on River Road around the area of the River Road Loop when two vehicles collided with one another. Emergency responders were dispatched, including the University of Georgia Police Department.
One of the drivers involved in the collision reported that they were hospitalized with head trauma resulting from the accident. The extent of their injuries and their current condition is not known.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
