Ball Ground, GA (January 13, 2020) – Around 6:30 a.m. this morning, Cherokee County authorities responded to the scene of a car accident on I-575.

According to police, the collision took place in the northbound lanes of the highway in the area of Airport Road in Ball Ground.

Police confirmed that multiple vehicles were involved in the accident and a variety of injuries were reported. Paramedics assisted those in need.

Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked after the collision.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
