Cairo, GA (November 7, 2019) – Earlier this week, a passenger was killed in a fatal accident on GA-93. Police claim that the driver might be facing charges
A 30-year-old driver was traveling northbound when her vehicle veered into the oncoming lane of traffic, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The driver then steered off the side of the road and through a fence and crashed into several trees before overturning and coming to a rest.
The woman’s boyfriend, a 53-year-old man, was ejected from the passenger seat. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The woman was also injured and taken to the hospital.
Charges are pending at this time and the investigation into the accident continues.
