Carlos graduated from Emory University with degrees in Political Science and English. Afterward, he completed his legal studies at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was a trial practice teaching assistant, earned the Outstanding Community Service Certificate for his work in the local community, and was certified by LexisNexis in legal research. Carlos then moved to Georgia and served the community as a prosecutor with the Fulton County Solicitor General’s Office. Here, he worked from the jail to the courtroom, gained leadership experience, and was selected to assist federal and local law enforcement during the summer 2020 protests.
Carlos fulfilled his tenure with the State and went on to become a civil defense attorney at a large national firm. There, he assisted business owners and companies through the course of civil litigation, from premises liability and personal injury to Section 1983 matters. Now, Carlos represents and tells the stories of individuals in personal injury matters at Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C.
Carlos is fluent in Spanish.
