Decatur, GA (January 13, 2020) – Around 1:18 p.m. this afternoon, authorities responded to the scene of a truck accident with injuries on the East Expressway.
The exact circumstances leading up to the collision are not yet known but it is believed that a flatbed truck collided with a black sedan and a blue sedan. Both sedans were left with extensive damages.
The accident took place before the area of Wesley Chapel Road and completely blocked the right lane of traffic, leading to extensive delays in the area.
Paramedics assisted one or more victims with their injuries after the accident.
At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
