Kingsland, GA (December 3, 2019) – This afternoon around 1:10 p.m., a fatal head-on collision took place on GA-40 in Kingsland that took the lives of four individuals.
The accident, according to police, completely closed down the entire roadway in the area following the collision. The Georgia State Patrol investigated the accident.
A 2008 Nissan Altima was traveling westbound when the vehicle suddenly crossed over a concrete divider in the middle of the road and went into the other lane of traffic. This caused the Altima to collide head-on with a Ford F-250.

Police reported that two others were hospitalized and that one of these was a 9-year-old boy.
The roadway was closed down in the area until 4 p.m. Police continue to investigate the accident.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased victims at this time. Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
