Macon, GA (January 15, 2020) – This morning around 8 a.m., two car accidents were reported on GA-401 in Macon. One of these accidents led to injuries.
The Bibb Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of the car accident in the southbound lane of GA-401 near the area of Rocky Creek Road.
The collision allegedly took place when three vehicles collided after one vehicle experienced a tire blowout. The vehicles were badly damaged due to the collision.
One person was taken to the hospital with injuries but the severity of their injuries is not yet known.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
