Norcross, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash Causes Delays on I-85

Milledgeville, GA – Officer at Fault in Car Accident on GA-22

Milledgeville, GA (November 8, 2019) – The Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene of a car accident on GA-22 on Thursday night that was the fault of a trooper.

The crash took place at 7:10 p.m. around the GA-22 area in Baldwin County. At the time, a trooper was headed north and attempted to make a left turn into a private drive. This caused his vehicle to collide with a Mitsubishi Eclipse.

The Eclipse ran into the right side of the cruiser. The driver and passenger in the Eclipse were immediately taken to the hospital. The trooper had minor injuries but was not transported with his injuries.

State Patrol said that the fault was of the trooper, who failed to yield.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
