Monroe, GA (January 25, 2020) – Monroe Police responded to the scene of a truck crash involving a passenger vehicle that led to injuries.
The accident allegedly took place between a Ford Taurus and a commercial tanker truck. Police have not yet confirmed what circumstances led to the accident but claim that it happened on Highway 78.
A 70-year-old victim in the Taurus was sent to an Athens hospital with a broken neck. He was severely injured but his current condition is not yet known.
The Georgia State Patrol continues their investigation into the collision.
