Newnan, GA (December 2, 2019) – Around 3:30 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a car crash at a local Newnan intersection that injured victims.
The accident, according to Coweta County deputies, took place at the intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 154. The crash blocked the intersection and involved at least two vehicles.
Police did not comment on the extent of the damages but it is believed that two sedans collided with one another, causing injuries in one or more parties. Paramedics and fire crews responded to the scene.
The intersection was completely blocked for some time following the collision, leading to delays for early morning traffic. Police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation of the accident remains ongoing.
