Albany, GA (December 18, 2019) – Last evening, the Albany Police Department responded to the scene of a five-vehicle collision at an Albany intersection.
The accident happened at the intersection of Gillionville Road and Westover Boulevard. A 59-year-old man was driving north approaching the intersection when he suddenly turned into the path of a 46-year-old man from Albany,
The collision happened so forcefully that the first man’s Ford F-150 spun and his vehicle landed on top of the other car.
The 46-year-old driver was the only victim injured in the accident. He was treated and is expected to be okay.
The first driver was charged with failing to yield while turning left. Police continue their investigation at this time.
