Albany, GA (June 4, 2020) – This morning, a child was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash that took place in Albany.
According to police, the juvenile was struck at 700 Poplar Street while they were crossing the roadway. The vehicle that struck them initially fled the scene but then returned a while later.
The juvenile was left with serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Their current condition is not yet known.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
