Athens, GA – One Injured in Car Crash at Milledge Ave & Will Hunter Rd
Athens, GA (May 3, 2021) – On Friday, April 30, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Athens.
According to officials from the University of Georgia Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Milledge Avenue and Will Hunter Road. Several vehicles collided in the area after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One driver received a finger injury, though their condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
