Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Cascade Rd Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (May 12, 2021) – At 8:24 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, May 12, a car accident with injuries took place in Atlanta.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Cascade Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they were involved in a forceful chain-reaction collision with each other. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Three left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
