Atlanta, GA (October 5, 2020) – Around 7:14 a.m. on Monday morning, October 5, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Atlanta.

Atlanta Police confirmed that the collision occurred at the intersection of North Avenue and Spring Street. Though the circumstances of the collision are not entirely known, it is believed that two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims, though they have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Due to the severity of the accident, numerous lanes were blocked in the area of the intersection. This led to delays for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
