Atlanta, GA (September 13, 2020) – Early this morning, September 13, a car accident took place in the southbound lanes of I-75 in Atlanta.
Atlanta Police confirmed that the crash took place just after midnight when multiple vehicles collided with one another for unknown reasons. The crash took place on I-75 around the area of Cumberland Boulevard. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Numerous responders, including several EMS vehicles, were present at the scene. Paramedics confirmed that one or more victims were injured due to the accident and they were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The accident led to delays in two right lanes of traffic until police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
