Atlanta, GA (September 5, 2019) – This morning before the sun rose, police responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision that took place in Atlanta and caused injuries.
According to police, the accident took place on Interstate 20 in the eastbound lanes. Police did not confirm how many were involved in the accident but said that only a right lane was open due to the severe damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics were at the scene assisting those with injuries, but we do not know how many were taken to the hospital at this time. There were delays all the way through Douglas County for quite some time.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
