Atlanta, GA (June 30, 2020) – This afternoon, authorities responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision with injuries in Atlanta.
The crash took place around 1:02 p.m. when two or more vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of Chamblee Tucker Road. One of the vehicles, which was identified as a white sedan, crashed into a guardrail and sustained front-end damages following the collision.
Paramedics were present at the scene of the collision and assisted those with injuries. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
All lanes of traffic were closed down in the area for a period of time. Police urged those traveling through to use I-75 as an alternate route.
No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
