6/15 Calhoun, GA – Man Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Fairmount Hwy

Atlanta, GA (April 12, 2021) – On Sunday, April 11, a serious motorcycle accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75. At the time, three vehicles collided with each other. Two of the vehicles were identified as motorcycles. Police believe that a vehicle changed lanes, colliding with the two bikes.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One person was airlifted to the hospital with a variety of serious injuries. Their current condition is not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
