4/22 Conyers, GA – Injuries Reported in Tractor-Trailer Collision on I-20

Canton, GA – Truck Accident at Hickory Flat Hwy & Mtn Vista Blvd

Canton, GA (March 1, 2021) – Early Monday morning, March 1, a truck accident occurred at an intersection in Canton that led to injuries.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place at the intersection of Hickory Flat Highway and Mountain Vista Boulevard. Two tractor-trailers hauling trash collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized with serious injuries.

The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for a period of time. Police urged those traveling through to use Northside Cherokee Boulevard as an alternate route.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
