Cartersville, GA – 4 Students Injured in Car Crash on Old Alabama Rd

Cartersville, GA (December 4, 2019) – Around 7:50 a.m. this morning, four students were injured in a serious car crash in Cartersville involving one vehicle.

According to police, the accident took place on Old Alabama Road. The Georgia State Patrol said that the accident happened when a Honda Accord was traveling east on the roadway in front of Woodland High School when the driver suddenly veered off the roadway.

The vehicle immediately struck a concrete culvert. Four teenage occupants were in the vehicle and sustained injuries of varying degrees.

Three of the victims were immediately transported to Cartersville Medical Center and another was taken to Kennestone Hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not known.

The investigation continues at this time.
