Cobbtown, GA (May 30, 2019) – Police arrived at the scene of a fatal accident that took place at 12000 Highway 23 in Burke County around 1:50 p.m. yesterday, May 29th. The Burke County Sheriff’s Office, who arrived at the scene immediately with other emergency responders, claim that one person lost their life in the accident.
Police are not sure what caused the accident but know that the damages were severe. Two people were ejected from one of the vehicles involved in the accident.
The driver of that vehicle was pronounced dead after being taken to the Burke Medical Center.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
