Conley, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Moreland Ave

Conley, GA (May 23, 2020) – This evening around 6:40 p.m., numerous responders were called to the scene of a car accident on a major highway in Conley.

DeKalb County officials responded to the scene where they found that two or more vehicles forcefully collided in the eastbound lanes of I-285 in a period of high traffic levels. The accident took place around the area of Moreland Avenue.

Paramedics immediately responded to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. It is believed that one or more people were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Two right lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time, leading to extensive delays in the area.

No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
