Dalton, GA – Rear-End Collision with Injuries at Dalton Bypass & Airport Rd
Dalton, GA (November 29, 2021) – On Monday afternoon, November 29, a rear-end collision with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dalton.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Dalton Bypass and Airport Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other at the intersection. One of the vehicles struck the other in the rear, which led to extensive damages to the vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the intersection was blocked for an extended period of time.
