Decatur, GA (September 21, 2020) – Around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 21, a car accident with injuries took place in Decatur.
The accident, according to police, took place at the intersection of Covington Highway and South Hairston Road. The crash took place when two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive delays in the area.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. One or more victims were injured and transported to the hospital.
Due to the severity of the accident, numerous lanes were closed down in the area. This led to delays in the area for an extended period of time.
