Decatur, GA (March 25, 2020) – Around 7:30 a.m. this morning, DeKalb County Police and other responders were dispatched to the scene of a car crash in Decatur.
Police confirmed that the collision took place at the intersection of McAfee Road and East Lakeside Drive in Decatur.
Police did not comment on the circumstances leading up to the collision but said that the vehicles involved were badly damaged due to the accident.
There were extensive delays in the area due to emergency response vehicles blocking multiple lanes of traffic at the intersection. Paramedics were seen assisting those with injuries.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing at this time.
