Decatur, GA (January 14, 2020) – Around 11:30 p.m. last night, DeKalb County authorities responded to the scene of a car crash on the Ralph David Abernathy Freeway in Decatur.
The accident, according to police, took place in the westbound lanes of the highway near the area of Flat Shoals Road.
Police did not comment on the circumstances of the collision but it involved at least two vehicles. One of the vehicles was a gray SUV with extensive front-end damages.
One EMS vehicle was present at the scene of the collision and was seen putting at least one victim in the back. A wrecker was also present due to the extensive damages.
No further details have been released but police continue their investigation.
