Decatur, GA (July 6, 2020) – Around 3 a.m. this morning, an employee was left in critical condition following a pedestrian accident at a McDonald’s.
DeKalb County police officers responded to the scene of the accident, which took place at the McDonald’s at 2077 North Decatur Road. They received a call that a person was struck by a car.
Officers found a female teenager at the scene who was struck by a vehicle after a dispute took place. The employee was involved in a dispute with a driver after they complained that their order was incorrect.
The victim was transported to the hospital with critical injuries after being struck by the vehicle. It is believed that the vehicle fled the scene.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
