Duluth, GA – Car Crash in SB Lanes of I-85 Near Steve Reynolds Blvd
Duluth, GA (July 24, 2021) – At 12:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, July 24, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Duluth.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Steve Reynolds Boulevard. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway when one or more lost control, causing a forceful chain-reaction collision. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the crash and taken to local hospitals.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes until police were able to fully clear the scene.
