Emerson, GA (March 30, 2020) – Around noon yesterday, Emerson authorities responded to a serious motorcycle accident on Red Top Mountain Road.
The accident was so severe that it allegedly stalled traffic in the area for several hours. Though few details are known, it is believed that a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided with one another.
The motorcyclist received a serious shoulder injury when he was thrown to the ground during the accident.
Police confirmed that the motorcyclist was taken to Kennestone Hospital in Kennesaw by ambulance.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
