Fairburn, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-85 Near Senoia Rd
Fairburn, GA (October 13, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 13, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Fairburn.
According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Senoia Road. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles were traveling in the southbound lanes when they collided around the area of the exit. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. The injured victims were rushed to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time. This led to delays until police were able to clear the scene.
