Griffin, GA – Three-Vehicle Crash at E McIntosh Rd and N 2nd St

Griffin, GA (September 14, 2020) – On Sunday night, September 13, a three-vehicle crash took place at an intersection in Griffin that led to injuries.

According to the Spalding Sheriff’s Department, the accident took place when three vehicles collided at the intersection of East McIntosh Road and North 2nd Street. Police did not comment on the circumstances leading up to the accident but have confirmed that the vehicles involved were left with severe damages as a result of the collision.

Spalding Fire Department and Spalding Regional officials were dispatched to the scene of the collision. Two patients who have not yet been identified were taken to Spalding Regional for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area until police were able to remove the vehicles from the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
