Griffin, GA (October 16, 2020) – On Friday morning, October 16, a two-vehicle crash took place at Wilson Road and the Griffin Bypass.
Police were dispatched to the scene where they found that a Dodge pickup truck and a sedan collided with one another for reasons that are not yet known. The accident led to extensive damages to the vehicles, which had to be towed from the scene.
Numerous responders including the Spalding Fire Department, the Spalding Sheriff’s Department, and Spalding Regional were present at the scene. Two victims were injured as a result of the accident and taken to Spalding Regional by EMS.
Due to the severity of the collision, debris was scattered all over the roadway and closed down numerous lanes for a period of time. Police worked to clear the scene of the accident.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the crash at this time.
