Griffin, GA (May 8, 2019) – Around 10:09 p.m. last night, May 6th, police and various other responders arrived at the scene of a motorcycle accident at a local intersection. According to police, the crash took place between a motorcycle and a pickup truck at the intersection of Birdie and Patterson Roads.
Police are not sure what caused the accident, but they do know that the motorcycle crashed after it struck the side of the pickup truck. Both vehicles sustained major damage.
The driver of the motorcycle was severely injured and was airlifted from the scene to the Atlanta Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. A landing zone had to be established at the Beaver Brook School.
Police are still investigating the accident at this time.
