Griffin, GA (March 26, 2019) – Around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, police were called to the scene of a pedestrian accident that took place at Ellis Road. The accident took place on the North Expressway intersection with the roadway.
The caller told dispatchers that an individual was lying face down on the road and was not breathing. Responders came to the scene to assess the pedestrian’s health.
When paramedics arrived, they issued care to the pedestrian, who had a pulse and shallow breathing. They were airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
