Lavonia, GA (June 16, 2019) – Police have reported that two people were killed and three received injuries in a fatal crash that took place involving two vehicles.
The accident, according to police, took place involving a charter bus and an SUV. Police are not sure what caused the vehicles to collide with one another at this time.
Fire officials stated that the accident took place at the intersection of Knox Bridge Road and Highway 59. Three people received a variety of different injuries in the accident. Two were killed at the scene, including a 76-year-old man and 18-year-old woman.
The road was blocked for some time but was reopened quickly. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
