Lawrenceville, GA (March 30, 2020) – Police responded to the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash that took place on Friday around 6 p.m.
Lawrenceville authorities responded to the scene of the accident where they discovered that a crash took place at the intersection of Collins Hill Road and Russell Road. A caller said that a motorcycle and a vehicle collided with one another and emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as a 49-year-old man who was immediately taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Unfortunately, he tragically passed away while there.
Police were later able to determine that the driver of a Honda attempted to make a left turn at the intersection while the motorcycle headed straight. This caused the two to collide, ejecting the motorcyclist.
No charges have been filed at this time. The investigation into the accident continues.
