Lincolnton, GA (January 15, 2020) – On Tuesday afternoon, January 14, police responded to the scene of a fatal accident at GA-47 and Murray Jones Circle in Lincolnton.
Lincoln County deputies responded to the scene where they found that a vehicle and a scooter collided. The vehicle was being driven by a 19-year-old, who collided with the scooter near the intersection.
The victim on the scooter was identified as a 73-year-old man. He was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
