Macon, GA (December 3, 2019) – Around 11 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at a Macon intersection that prompted emergency responders.
The accident, according to police, took place at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Ingleside Avenue and involved a rear-end between a van and an SUV. The SUV had serious front-end damages.
Crews closed down one lane of traffic as they worked to clear the scene. EMS vehicles were present at the scene assisting victims. It is not known how many were injured or the extent of their injuries at this time.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
