Marietta, GA (July 21, 2021) – At 8:06 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, July 21, a car accident happened at an intersection in Marietta.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Austell Road and Callaway Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to become severely damaged. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the northbound lanes for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
