Marietta, GA (January 14, 2020) – On January 12 around 2:58 p.m., a serious car accident with injuries took place at the intersection of Powder Springs Road and Kimberly Drive.
A Chevrolet Corvette was driving south on Powder Springs at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of his vehicle and crossed into the other lane of traffic. The vehicle collided with a silver Toyota RAV4.
The driver of the Corvette was identified as a 51-year-old man from Dallas. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was identified as a 49-year-old woman from Marietta. She was taken to the hospital with injuries and is expected to recover.
The collision remains under investigation at this time.
