Menlo, GA (May 22, 2020) – Last evening, May 21, the Georgia State Patrol assisted at the scene of a DUI accident that took place on a major roadway in Menlo.

Though few details are known regarding the accident, police have confirmed that three vehicles were involved in the collision that was caused by a drunk driver.

The accident took place on a stretch of GA-48. Numerous emergency responders were called to the scene and assisted multiple victims with minor injuries. All are expected to make a recovery.

The roadway was closed down in the area for a short period of time and it is believed that at least one arrest was made.

No further details have been provided but the investigation is ongoing.
