Rex, GA (January 14, 2020) – Around 8:30 a.m. this morning, Clayton County authorities assisted at the scene of a multi-vehicle truck crash on the Terrell Starr Parkway in Rex.
According to police, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of the highway near the area of SR-42.
Police confirmed that all lanes of traffic were blocked for a certain amount of time, so police urged those in the area to use I-75 as an alternate.
The accident scattered debris all over the roadway and involved at least one truck and four or more vehicles. Many of the vehicles were badly damaged due to the collision.
Paramedics assisted multiple parties with injuries but, at this time, the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
