Ringgold, GA – Tractor-Trailer Accident with Injuries on GA-3

Ringgold, GA (October 21, 2020) – Around noon on Wednesday, October 21, a tractor-trailer accident occurred on a major roadway in Ringgold.

Catoosa County officials confirmed that the accident took place when three vehicles collided with each other. Police confirmed that two of the vehicles were sedans, which collided on GA-3. One of the sedans then collided with a tractor-trailer, completely crushing it. The vehicle was extensively damaged in the front and back.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to assist at the scene of the accident. One or more victims were seriously injured and entrapped in their vehicles. The parties were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues at this time.
