Rossville, GA (August 14, 2020) – Walker County authorities responded to the scene of a fatal car accident at an intersection in Rossville this afternoon.
The accident, according to police, happened around 6 p.m. Police confirmed that three vehicles collided at the intersection of GA-2 and Dewberry Road for reasons that are still under investigation. The vehicles involved were all badly damaged as a result. A white car was seen with the engine pushed into the vehicle due to extensive front-end damage.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to assist at the scene of the accident. It was reported that there were possibly multiple fatalities as a result of the accident. A woman was also transported to the hospital with serious injuries. It is not known if any other victims were injured or what their conditions are.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
