Sandy Springs, GA (June 30, 2020) – Early this morning around 11:38 a.m., police responded to the scene of a car crash on a major highway.
The accident, according to Sandy Springs Police Department officials, took place in the northbound lanes of the Turner McDonald Parkway (GA-400) around the area of Abernathy Road.
The accident allegedly involved multiple vehicles, which were badly damaged as a result of the collision. Paramedics were present at the scene to assist those with injuries, though it is not known how many were injured.
There were slight delays entering Sandy Springs for a period of time until police cleared the roadway.
No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
