Sandy Springs, GA (January 11, 2020) – Around 5:45 p.m. last evening, January 10th, a serious multi-vehicle collision took place in the northbound lanes of GA-400.

Police have not yet confirmed the circumstances leading up to the collision but have said that the accident happened just north of Abernathy Road in the left lane of traffic.

Multiple emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident including paramedics. The total number of victims involved in the accident is not yet known.

There were extensive delays for a period of time while police worked to clear the scene.

At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
