Sandy Springs, GA (June 22, 2019) – Police issued a red alert last night due to a serious late-night car crash that took place in Sandy Springs on GA-400.
According to police, the accident took place last night in low visibility conditions in the northbound lanes of the highway. All lanes were blocked due to the crash, which allegedly involved multiple vehicles.
Police were redirecting traffic to Glenridge Drive as an alternative. They did not say how many vehicles were involved in the accident, but the accident led to delays for quite some time.
Paramedics and other emergency responders were immediately called to the scene of the accident so that they could assist many parties with their injuries.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
