Savannah, GA (October 29, 2020) – Late on Wednesday night, October 28, a four-vehicle accident with injuries occurred in Savannah.
According to Chatham County Police, the collision took place on US-80 around the area of the Bull River Bridge when four vehicles collided due to unknown reasons. The vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction crash that led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and fire crews were dispatched to assist at the scene of the crash. Multiple people were treated at the scene and taken to local hospitals but are all expected to be okay.
The roadway was closed down in the area for an extended period of time. Police confirmed that construction was happening in the area, which led to more delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
