Savannah, GA – One Killed in Fatal Car Crash on Fort Argyle Rd

Savannah, GA (October 26, 2020) – Around 2 a.m. on Monday morning, one person was killed in a fatal car crash in Savannah.

According to Chatham County Police, the accident took place when two or more vehicles collided on Fort Argyle Road around the area of Bush Road. One of the vehicles was horrifically damaged and had to be removed from the roadway.

Georgia State Patrol officials, Savannah Police Department officials, Chatham County Police, fire crews, and paramedics were present at the scene of the crash. One person, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Both lanes of traffic were temporarily closed down in the area while police worked to clear the scene. The road reopened to traffic around 7:30 a.m.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
